June 1st, 2007

On Friday the First we pulled some strings and got Bowtech to send their brand new interactive archery trailer down here to our shop in Steele, MO. During the day we had people constantly in the trailer shooting and trying out the new Bowtech bows. Hans Saunders of Bowtech was on hand to assist everybody that passed through the trailer. We had a lot of people who has never shot before come through the trailer and give a try and then immediately fell in love with shooting. During the day we gave out door prizes every half hour. The prizes were as follows: One Pair of Much Boots, Bowtech Rattle Bags, Primos "The Truth 4" DVD, Morrell Hunting DVD, One Dozen Easton ST Excel Arrows, Thermal Dri Boot Dryer, C'Meere Deer Attractant, Thermacell Mosquito Repellant, Doinker Woodsman Stabilizer, and the big prizes were One Bowtech Equalizer, and One Bowtech Allegiance. We also had a tournament that day were we had a drawn 8 people that qualified early in the day to shoot in a Bracket Style Tournament. The competition went as follows, Jason Perry beat out Robert King 28 to 26 to face Cole Flannagan who beat out Eddie Holloway 40 to 21. Then Mark Lampe beat Rob Brooks 38 to 26 to face Josh Kies who beat out Dave Patrick 28 to 21. Then in the next round Cole Flannagan beat out Jason Perry 45 to 38 to face Mark Lampe in the final round. Mark beat out Josh Kies 35 to 38 to get there. For the Delta 3-D Hog Target Cole Flannagan defeated Mark Lampe 45 to 33. It was a lot of fun and all the shooters enjoyed themselves, and I appreciated everyone who came out to support me that day as well. To show some of my appreciation I gave out hotdogs, water, sodas all day as well as balloons to the kids who attended. So again for those who attended I thank you for making our day a success, and for those who couldn't make it I look forward to seeing you at our next event.

We just had our 3-D Pop Up Tournament and Turkey Talk day back on March 24th. The tournament was operated by Jerry Boyles from Bowmasters of Arkansas, and he did a great job for us running the shoot.  You could not have pick a prettier day to hold the event, it was gorgeous outside with clear skies, sunny, and around 80 degrees. We had a good turnout and people seemed to have enjoyed themselves. We had free hotdogs and sodas that we gave out throughout the event as well as door prizes that people won. During this event we had Turkey Talk Day with Talkin' Stick Game Calls pro staff Bryan Ross. Bryan is just a super guy that is very knowledgeable about turkey calling and hunting and he put on a very informative seminar for us. Well that pretty much sums up our event, so with that I want to say Thanks to all those who came out and for those who couldn't make it or didn't know about it I hope to see them at our next event.
