Casey, Just a line to let you know that my bow arrived on X-mas eve. I was extremely happy to see that box carried up to the package counter! I even tempered myself and waited until the next day to open it up and check it out. I could not be more pleased with all aspects of my purchase. You definitely went over and above what I expected! You really mean it when you label something "ready to shoot". It is exactly what I asked for and more. You are to be commended for the way you treat your customers. From your website to selection to options/accessories to shipping; you are the real deal. You have earned a customer for life, and I'll be telling anyone that will listen that there's only one place to be doing business when it comes to archery, and that's The Greene Outdoors, period. The wife snapped the accompanying photo, even she is pleased with my new toy. Thanks again for all that you (and your staff) did to make the process so effortless.

My friend Michael and I recently purchased a bow each from Casey at ‘The Greene Outdoors’. We bought a Bowtech TomKat package each, which we have been thrilled with. The Customer service we experienced was exceptional, particularly as we were purchasing from Australia which made the process more complicated. Casey’s emails were very punctual (within 24hrs in every case), and nothing seemed too hard for him to organise. The bows came completely set up and with quality accessories. I would thoroughly recommend this store to other customers, and I have done so to many of my friends. The purchase was an entirely positive one – very rare!

I live in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory of Australia. I started bow hunting last October and loved it from the first minute I shot an arrow. I joined a local Bow Hunting club with a view to maybe becoming good enough to enter the National competitions. I got my first bow for Xmas, but now need new arrows to suit it and me. Because of the remoteness of where I live, I rely on mail order and the internet to do a lot of my research and shopping. I listened to a lot of people at the club telling me what I should and shouldn’t be shooting, and, to say the least, I was sooooooo confused. One of the club members then gave me the Greene Outdoors web address and I looked it up. The help section on arrows and the information on the dynamics of flight were amazing. There was so much more to it than I imagined and I didn’t feel confident enough to make a decision for myself on which arrows to purchase. So I shot off an email to Casey asking for his help and advice. Within 24 hours, despite our time difference, I got a reply from Casey. Quite a number of emails were sent back and forth after that first one and I never had to wait longer than a few hours to hear back from him. His attention to customer service is second to none and I am extremely impressed. Australian businesses should take note! My arrow order is now placed and I look forward to a long association with Casey and Greene Outdoors.

Mr. Greene,
i looked for a place to put a review on your website but couldn't find one... and you should have one up there because you would probably get great reviews.
i just wanted to tell you that i got the bow today and i couldn't be more happy with it! i was worried that i may have picked the wrong draw length but the chart on your website nailed it. I have also read great reviews of the broadheads included and appreciate you including such high quality accessories in this bow package. i also appreciate saving a few bucks, since i'm a college student and every buck counts. i will be using the bow just as you set it up for me when i go hunting this up coming season, and can't wait to see how it shoots over spring break.
thank you very much, you never know how web transactions will go, and this was a good one.

The bow is very quiet and the release has a hair trigger, and the arrows are awesome. I bought a Diamond Rapture ready to go package. Thank you once agian and i will be recommending my friends to you.

Casey,
I received my Diamond Triumph RTG Wednesday January 9th. I can honestly say, I could not be more pleased with my entire shopping experience. Everything seems to be set up exactly as I requested. The bow shoots excellently (I am a novice archer and as such, this is my very first bow); I am grouping 2" or less at twenty yards.
I also must thank you again for your patience as I dealt with my credit card company.
I will let everyone know where I bought and let them know about the great experience I had.
Can't wait for next fall.

The weather gods are smiling on camel hunting now
Well the weather is finally heating up out here. Its the middle of summer for 2012 and the hot weather is improving the camel hunting through the Australian desert
Saturday was tipped to reach 104 ºF which is nice and toasty. That sort of heat forces even camels to remain within about 20 miles or so of water. There aren’t too many watering points out where we go hunting so this concentrates the animals in locations where they can be hunted. Finally after months of rain and cooler weather it was all coming together.
The drive is a bone crunching 220 mile trip on dirt roads out to my mate Jamie's place but come knock off time on Friday afternoon I was in the car and on the road as soon as I could. There is no better way to start a weekend.
The next morning had us out at first light doing more driving to find the animals. We spotted a mob about 500 yards away feeding away from us and the chase was on.
Anyone who hasn’t hunted camels might be surprised at the speed with which they casually browse alone. It took me nearly 2 miles of jogging and sneaking then jogging and sneaking again to close to within 50 yards on a camel that was still moving away.
I ranged a bush in front of it, drew, waited till it pulled level with the bush and gave a camel call challenge. It stopped, its big boof head swung around to look back over its shoulder but Id already pinned for a hard quartering shot and the arrow was on its way.
I wish I could say it was a perfect shot but I somehow pulled it a bit and ended up getting only one lung (although it was over a yard of penetration thru gut, liver and the lung end on. The camel gave a kick then trotted up to join the mob. I got my mate on the radio and let him know their direction of travel then followed up just keeping them in sight
A bit of a walk later the bull pulled up and I slipped in for the finisher.
Well we went to work with the knives and got out some prime meat unfortunately we had to do the carry out the hard way without proper packs to put the meat in. Not much fun in that heat I can promise!
Another 100 miles or so up the road we got caught up with Jamie's brother Quintin and his lovely fiance Nganapanpa.
They soon had the rough bush truck ready to go after some minor repairs.....
We had a great afternoon of hunting some really really rough back country. The animal numbers were good and we saw one huge mob of around 50 head all running together.
Quintin nailed 3 animals with the rifle and we spent a couple hours cutting them up and loading eskies with meat. We didn’t bother with photos as they were only rifle shot animals and out of the car window at that.
Both Jamie and I had good chances each with the bows later that afternoon but just couldn’t quite get inside the 65 yards or so which is too far for me. And both times each mob had 6 or 8 animals in them and you cant move without one of those big heads looking down on you from somewhere then the game is over.
The next day had us out on daybreak again, it was a bit cooler and we soon found lots of animals moving about. The first mob was about 800 yards off but browsing fast in our direction. We left the car and moved quickly some 200 yards or so into good cover in their path or travel. This big fella wandered thru within range.
It stopped to browse on some shrubs without spotting us. Jamie drew carefully and waited for a good angle while I whispered the range to him. The shot took it tight in front of the hip and buried in the offside shoulder. The bull barely ran 30 yards!
I got a chance shortly after on another mob and took off after them. It worked out in my favour after a short stalk a broadside shot was presented at 45 yards. I pinned for a heart shot on a big blonde bull and the shot went home nicely stopping the bull pretty much where he stood. The arrow was even just lying out the other side of where he went down!
I love the 80lb Bowtech Invasion in this sort of hunting. The dual cams throw a 620grain arrow very fast and results speak for themselves time and time again
That was the end of the hunting for the weekend but there is more hot weather on the way and another visit out to Jamie’s part of the desert is certainly on the card in the near future.
Cheers
Benno
